Director

LLRS uses a person-centered approach in the provision of individualized services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. It is our belief that with natural supports of a family network as well as specialized staff we are best able to promote acceptance in the community. This approach lends itself to successful experiences for the individuals and the community. As our name indicates, we would like to provide a life-line for individuals who normally don't have the opportunity to live outside restricted institutions with little or no community involvement. This is our ultimate goal and becomes the measure of our success.

ABOUT

I am excited about the growth of Life Line Residential Services  (LLRS). We continue to strive to become a vital Life Line for consumers who desire to integrate into the community but require additional support.

I am continually amazed at the progress many consumers experience as a result of a family like environment. The model of  LLRS is to create a family like setting among 4-6 consumers. Through this connection people develop individuality, a deeper sense of dignity and respect. We here at LLRS take pride in seeing each consumer blossom within the community.

Respectfully,

Marie A. Ward, Director
